Bali is one of the most pristine wedding and honeymoon destinations in the world. But if you’ve never been, or you’ve never held an event here, you might be looking for some suggestions on what to pack for your Bali wedding and honeymoon.
To help take a little stress out of the big day, here’s a list of what we highly recommend you plan to pack.
Clothing
Light and comfortable daytime clothing
Regardless of the time of year you’re celebrating your wedding and honeymoon, Bali is always warm, so you’ll want to pack a handful of light and comfortable clothing, like sundresses, shirts, singlets, shorts and skirts.
Respectful clothing if you wish to explore nearby religious sites
Bali has many ancient temples and religious sites you can visit. With respect to their customs, it’s recommended that you wear something a little more conservative, like long dresses and pants, when exploring these areas.
Evening wear
If you’re holding both your wedding and honeymoon in Bali, chances are you’ll be wining and dining most evenings. Remember to bring a few different options for when you plan to celebrate your evenings in style.
Swimsuits & activewear
With the weather remaining at a consistently warm level all year round, we recommend packing a few different swimsuits for days spent at the Beach Club.
If you’re planning on taking part in our daily yoga classes, hitting the gym before your big day or heading out for daytime adventures, you might also like to pack some comfortable activewear clothing.
Wedding dress & groom’s suit
The most important items of all are your wedding outfits.
Make sure to protect your dress in a carry bag for the journey over to Bali. It’s also a good idea to book it in for steaming when you get here to remove any creases it might have acquired on the voyage. You can discuss this with your dedicated wedding planner.
Sunglasses & hats
Very much necessities for days spent by the pools or adventuring outdoors.
Footwear
Slip-on shoes
From the resort pool to the beach, the bar and beyond, slip-on shoes are a must-have. Easy to kick off and light enough to throw in your beach bag when relaxing at the Beach Club.
Running / walking shoes
We recommend bringing along at least one pair of shoes for activities like using our fitness centre or if you plan on doing any scenic walks and activities around the island.
Wedding footwear
Another important one to remember is your wedding day attire footwear. If you are planning to wear high heels, one or two pairs should suffice, as you’ll likely opt for comfortable footwear during the rest of your stay with us.
Toiletries
While we aim to provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, you should consider bringing along:
- Toothbrushes & toothpaste
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Deodorant
- Perfumes
- Makeup
Healthcare
To avoid any feelings of illness or nausea during your wedding and honeymoon with us, we recommend bringing along a few simple healthcare products:
- Nausea/diarrhoea tablets
- Insect repellent
- Electrolytes
- Sanitiser
If you do find you’re missing anything you need during your stay, you can head to our boutique and ask one of our friendly staff members to help you.
